British Made Shutters
Our British Manufactured Shutter range is a Bonded Hardwood shutter that is manufactured in Hereford, England. Made from a WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) material that is most commonly found in decking, this material is designed to be water resistant as well as more resilient to impacts and damage. This is our most popular Shutter and also has a lead time of 4-6 Weeks.
PRICE – These Shutters are priced at approximately £370 per square metre including VAT and installation. An example would be a typical window measuring 120cm wide x 120cm drop would cost £533 including VAT and installation. There are several factors that may change this price, but this is an average cost for this size window.

Our imported Shutters are made from either Basswood, Monterey Pine, White Ash, Paulownia, MDF or PVC Composite.
There are many reasons why we might use any of these materials, and they all have their own advantages, which is why we offer them all. We understand that not 1 single product can cater for everybody, so we wanted to be able to offer a solution for everybody. We are best placed to advise each and every client, which is best for their needs and will happily explain this on every consultation. White Ash | Our White Ash shutters are manufactured from sustainably sourced FSC certified White Ash. Paulownia (PVC Coated) | Paulownia is an environmentally friendly, fast-growing hardwood. Paulownia, not only looks elegant, is a durable lightweight wood. The biggest drawback to Paulownia is how soft a material it is, so by adding a 3mm skin of PVC on the outside, we have created a heavy duty but lightweight hybrid shutter. | £375 inc VAT, Installation & Fully Concealed Tilt Mechansim |
MDF | Our MDF is both elegant and hard-wearing. Made from a combination of specially formulated MDF with a laminated wood core for the ultimate damage resistance and structural integrity. The high-quality wood composite is covered in a patented polypropylene (PP) coating with a UV inhibitor, giving extra protection against scratching, chipping, staining and heat damage. PVC Composite | Our PVC Composite shutters are manufactured using 100% waterproof Poly, all of which are aluminium reinforced to provide extra strength and durability. Our PVC shutters offer excellent value for money and come with the added benefit of being water and fire resistant as well as scratch resistant.
